• Therapy is unique to everyone - it can be a space to process challenging life events, to start and maintain change, to experience personal development, to address past hurts, and more.

Our first meeting will be focused on getting to know one another, gathering information and history on your concerns, and collaborating on identifying what you would like out of our time together.

Future sessions will follow a mutually agreed upon structure that includes discussion on if we are meeting your identified goals and feedback from you after each appointment.

  • The length and frequency of therapy depends on your needs and goals.

I recommend initially meeting weekly or every other week in order to provide consistent support for your goals. As we continue to work together, this may shift towards monthly or quarterly meetings.

We will discuss what schedule works best for your needs in our first meeting and will revisit the conversation in following appointments.

  • No, I currently do not offer in-person services.

I provide virtual telehealth sessions using a Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) compliant version of Google Meet for your confidentiality and privacy.

You can learn more about HIPAA compliance here.

  • If you are interested in starting individual therapy with me, you can reach out to me using my contact form.

I offer a 15-minute free initial consultation to discuss what are your expectations for therapy and how I may be able to help. This conversation also offers you the chance to determine if we would be a good fit.

If we decide to start therapy, I will send you an intake packet and we will set up a time for our first meeting.

  • Your fees include the therapy session, documentation time to provide a record of your concerns, goals, and progress, and time spent outside of our appointments for consultation and treatment planning.

I accept payment through Squareup, which is HIPAA-compliant.

After our appointment, you will be sent an invoice through a method of communication of your choice. Payment can be fulfilled through various options and is due upon receipt of the invoice.

  • No, I do not currently accept insurance.

I am able to provide a “super bill” upon your request which you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, if applicable.

I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to inquire about out-of-network mental or behavioral health coverage.

Super bills can only be provided for people who meet criteria for a DSM-5 mental health diagnosis.

  • If you are late for an appointment, you will be responsible for the full fee for the allotted time. Unfortunately, the time cannot be extended

In the case you miss an appointment without at least 24 hours’ notice, you will be responsible for the full fee of the session.

There is no fee for missed appointments if notice is provided at least 24 hours before our scheduled time. If you provide notice in advance and reschedule, you will only be charged for the rescheduled session.

We can troubleshoot and/or discuss alternative meeting times if we are unable to meet consistently.

I have been working in the mental health field since 2015 and as a therapist since 2019.

  • Social work is a profession with many hats - including being a therapist!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker which means that I received Master’s-level training and post-graduate supervision and experience to be able to practice independently as a mental health practitioner.

My studies included an emphasis on social justice and culturally responsive care.

  • No, I am not a medical provider and am unable to prescribe medications.

During the course of therapy, I may recommend seeking out a medication evaluation from either your Primary Care Physician or a psychiatrist depending on your medical history and immediate concerns.
